Frequently asked questions
What is a doormat size rug?
Small rugs suit an entrance, the front of a kitchen sink or a bathroom. Check the Size option on each product page to see which small sizes each rug comes in.
Can I use these rugs outside?
Only rugs marked for indoor and outdoor use on the product page are made for outdoor use. Check each product page before you place a rug outside.
What size doormat do I need?
Choose a mat a little narrower than the door opening and long enough for a full step. Size names are rounded, so check the actual size shown under Size on each rug.
Do I need a rug pad under a small rug?
Yes. A small rug slides the most, especially at a door where people step on the edge. A pad keeps it flat and in place on hardwood, laminate and tile. Choose a pad about 1 inch smaller than the rug on every side so the edges stay hidden; the sizes are listed in our rug pad collection.
What is the difference between a doormat and an entryway rug?
A doormat is a small mat at the door, and an entryway rug is a larger rug in the foyer or hallway. Both are listed by size, so check the actual size under Size on each rug.
Where can I find shipping and returns details?
Shipping and returns details are on our shipping policy and returns policy pages, and the rules can differ by country and by item. Read them before you order, and contact us if you have a question.
